WEEK 4

WEEK 6

Final Project: The Smart Yogurt Maker (Grade 7)

Important Note: The project is evaluated in Week 8. Working during vacations is 100% optional (only for those who want to get ahead or improve their design).

What you need to hand in (Week 8):

1. Onshape 3D Model & Drawings

  • Complete Solid: Design the entire yogurt maker in 3D with all its parts in Onshape.

  • Standard 2D Drawing: Create a drawing sheet showing the Front, Top, and Side views using a reduction scale.

  • Sensor Location: The drawing must clearly show where the pH and Temperature sensors will be placed.

  • Exploded View: Create a view showing the parts separated, including the bill of materials table (BOM).

2. Physical Folder

  • Print all the drawings generated in Onshape and bring them to class inside a neat folder (carpeta).

3. The Pitch (3-Minute Presentation)

  • Explain the main objective of your project.

  • Justify your design: explain why you chose to build it this way and not a different way.
